Fort Bovisand

A complex and ambitious scheme, by Fort Bovisand Developments, to bring the derelict Forts and associated buildings back into use alongside the construction of new detached and semi-detached residential unites and a waterside apartment building.

The site, previously occupied by the MOD, is also a scheduled Monument, is listed and as an SSSI is home to a number of protected species. The combination of the sites historic use, which raises the risk of UXO discoveries, and its single access cliff edge location make this both an interesting and highly challenging development project.

DNA South West have been approached as both Construction Manager and Cost Consultant for this refurbishment and new build £40M scheme that is divided into three phases. Phase One, Palmerston Court which comprises 6No £1M+ Cottages, is nearing completion with Phase Two, Anchorage Apartments, now underway. Phase Three’s the refurbishment element, drying out works are also now underway.

DNA South West are workign alongside a specialist Design & Engineering Team in order to deliver what we will be an outstanding residential scheme in an incredibly challenging and beautiful location.

Phase One is due for completion in June 2023, Phase Two in the Autumn 2025 alongside Phase Three.
